Love Is Not A Killer

Love Is Not A Killer

To some to find communion,
Is a gamble, with life itself.

When the odd are set against you.
And with the chance of love a pull.

The distortion becomes a drug.
The hook it digs in. Works well.

The self, is disconnected.
From your truth, and your will.

A lifestyle of hurting can prove fatal, again.
And again.

Abuse is an uneasy fear. Anxiety. 'Tis Blues.
Caring is a peaceful flow. 'Tis warm. 'Tis true.

Listen to that gentle core that leads you to the calm.
Be Free. For love is not a killer. Love is not to harm.
